Battling Depression 3 – Socialize

In part 3 of battling depressions, we want to talk a little more about socializing.

When was the last time when you were feeling low and…upon a meet up with your friends or loved ones did you feel perked up again?

We know the importance of having good friends and like what Jim Rohn says:

“Friends are people who know all about you and still like you and wants tone with you!”

Friends are one of the important asset or resource we have but be extremely careful of the friends that you are associating with.

If you are feeling low, you should always engage with friends or people who has a positive attitude and outlook in life and supportive but not those who has a negative attitude and unnecessary critical.

If you are feeling depressed, you may feel isolated, helpless or hopeless. It helps to have good friends around you or a good social network who can reassure and support you to get out of the negative mood.

Communicate your negative feelings with others and we can all learn from one another how to handle depressive feelings.

Stay tuned for the part 4 of battling the doldrums.
