Bios Life reduces statin drugs dosage

During a talk in Singapore conducted by Mr. GC Ong from Malaysia, there was a testimonial given by a Caucasian sharing his good experience of how Bios LIfe has done great wonders for him.

The man was having very high levels of cholesterol and blood pressure and even with the statin drugs that he is taking right now, the blood pressure and cholesterol continued to sky rocket high and that was when the doctor wanted to double his dosage of statin drugs.  As we may all know, with the doubling of the dosage of the statin drugs can only drop the cholesterol a  certain amount by the side effects that comes with it seems to be quite scary.

Instead of following the doctor’s advice of doubling the dosage, this guy chose not to and ask the doctor to hold on first because he is taking something else, which is Bios Life.  To his surprise, after taking the Bios Life, the cholesterol levels and blood pressure has dropped and the doctor mentioned that he doesn’t have to double the dosage.

We are all now looking forward to the day when he is taken off the statin drugs completely when the cholesterol has dropped to a desired level.

Homocysteine danger seems to be ignored by doctors…

During my medical check up last week for the insurance company, I was asking the doctor what is the cost of testing for homocysteine and the GP was quite surprised, or I would say shocked by my question.

Why do you want to test for homocysteine? The doctor asked.

I told him on a book “What Your Doctor Doesn’t Know About Nutritional Medicine That May Be Killing You” that quite a big percentage of people who died from heart attack did not have high cholesterol levels but high homocysteine level.

The doctor then asked me not to completely trust what the book or information on the web says and commented that the check of homocysteine is not that important.

I agreed with him in a way that we shouldn’t just trust what we have heard and follow blindly but instead we must all be students; students who study the information and make our own judgment if the information is correct and turn it to our own facts. If it is not, then we have to do our own due diligence to find out more and what can be construed as our own facts.

We shouldn’t just say that we should not trust the information we see and ignore the whole thing. I would like to re-quote a saying that goes like this: “Acquiring of knowledge may cost some money but try ignorance!”

Homocysteine: One Of The Cause Of Heart Attacks!

According to Dr Ray Strand in his book, “What Your Doctor Doesn’t Know About Nutritional Medicine May Be Killing You“, it says that it is estimated that an elevated homocysteine level in the blood is responsible for approximately 15 percent of all the heart attacks and strokes in the world today.

    What Is Homocysteine?

Homocysteine is an intermediate by-product that we produce when our bodies metabolize or break down an essential amino acid called methionin, which is found in large quantities in our meat, eggs, milk, cheese, white flour, canned foods and highly processed foods.

Our body need methionine to survive and normally convert homocysteine into either cysteine or back to methionine again.  Cysteine and methionine are benign products and are not harmful in any way but here is the catch: the enzymes needed to break down homocysteine into cysteine or back to methionine are folic acid, vitamin B12 and vitamin B6 (which all can be found in our flagship product, Bios Life, that is clinically proven to lower cholesterol) to do their job.

If we are deficient in these nutrients, the levels of homocysteine in the blood begin to rise.  Unlike cholesterol, which the body needs for the production of certain cell parts and hormones, homocysteine provides no health benefit.  So the higher the level of homocysteine, the greater the risk of cardiovascular disease.  Conversely, the lower the level of homocysteine, the better.

Have you checked on your levels of homocysteine?

I will be checking my level when I am having my medical check up in July.  I did mention about checking my homocysteine level to my GP when I consulted him about a month ago and he says that it is not necessary. I was then thinking that since it is going to cost about $90 to have it checked and have a peace of mind, why not?

Could It Be Homocystein That Caused MC King’s Death?

Thanks to Jerry for his comments that MC King was certified OK in a medical check up few months before he died.

That reminds me of a book that I read titled “What Your Doctor Doesn’t Know About Nutritional Medicine May Be Killing You” where Dr. Ray Strand mentioned that one of the cause of heart diseases is a high level of homocystein.

I would take up the book and read again and see what was it that Dr. Strand has written in the book on homocystein and post on this blog later.

Combination Therapy To Prevent Heart Diseases

While listening to the Doctors Speak Out on Bios Life, a doctor named Dr Mark was talking about the use of combination therapy to prevent heart diseases, which includes:

    1. Lowering of the LDL cholesterol
    2. Increasing of the HDL cholesterol
    3. Lowering of triglycerides

The use of statin drugs with the reported adverse side effects is only acting as a mono therapy that is to lower the bad cholesterol. With Bios Life, one is able to use a combination therapy for complete cholesterol care. You can listen to the audio on what Dr Mark talks about combination therapy.
