Obesity can have severe health problems and what are these problems?
As I was having dinner with a friend a few weeks ago in Jakarta, he was telling me that he was traveling with his brother in Singapore when he had a sudden hunch that he has to go back to Jakarta as soon as possible.
Heart attacks and strokes are very much feared disease and it actually kills 1 out of every 3 people according to the World Health Organisation statistics.
Even if it doesn’t kills, it normally leaves a person in a undesirable state and at certain stage, some people are very dependent on others on their normal livelihood.
I am sure you don’t want this to happen to you but…
There are many individuals whom I talk to on the prevention of cardiovascular disease whom gave a very weird answer:
“Sometimes it may be better to have a heart attack and die immediately and you will not be a burden to this world or even your family!”
But, what if it is not the time to die yet?
As a Chinese, we have beliefs if a person is fated to die and if it so happens that one who has a heart attack but is not fated to die yet, how is he or she going to lead their lives? Will it be a quality life or is it much lesser than we expect it to be?
You can do something about it if heart attack or strokes do scares you by taking the necessary measures:
Regulate your blood pressure
Regulate your cholesterol
Regulate your blood glucose level
Increase your intake of fibre
Increase your intake of CoQ10
Increase your intake of Omega-3 fatty acids
Increase your intake of antioxidants
There is no guarantees that you will not suffer from cardiovascular disease after taking these measures but your risk will be reduced.
Who can gives guarantees nowadays when even huge bank like Lehman Brothers can declare bankruptcy?

It is very scary to see so many people who are seemingly healthy (and young)die suddenly of a heart attack.
In most cases, these heart attacks are caused by soft plaque ruptures (no symptoms, no abnormal diagnostic tests, and few or no risk factors).
There is a viable solution to identify if you have soft plaque building in your arteries (regardless if you are in shape and hav no elevated risk factors).
It is called a Carotid IMT ultrasound test. This test measures the inflammation in the innermost layers of your carotid arteries (neck). Its non incasive and will detect the earliest signs of structural vascular damage (pre-disease and early disease). Your physician can then treat you clinically, rather than waiting for you to have an event, or become so clogged (moderate and advanced disease)that its time for surgery.
this test is becoming more readily available to consumers and physicians, but with all new procedures-the medical establishment is slow to catch on.

Thanks for the information Dave.
That is interesting to know what can one do to find out if he or she is in great risk of having heart attacks. I believe besides testing it, it is important to take note as well to address the concerns of high cholesterol, high triglycerides and high homocysteine level with a natural supplement called Bios Life:
